Object description
The photo shows a fragment of a fabric sketch (under the photo, there is an inscription in Ukrainian, written in simple pencil: "Ivanova A. Fabric sketch. 1934"). The pattern is based on rhythmic repetition and floral motifs (probably of cotton), simplified to almost geometric shapes. The style of the artistic solution of the fabric corresponds to the trends of the 1930s. It was probably used for the production of women's clothing for the spring and summer periods, possibly robes.
