Object description
The Ukrainian-language simple pencil inscription below the photograph reads: "Ivanova A.M. Hilling Сabbage. 1928 Moscow". The original of this work by the artist is in the collection of the National Art Museum of Ukraine and is titled "Work in the Field" (1920s, canvas, tempera). Given the differences in title and date, it is advisable to conduct additional research on the original to establish the reliability of the information and to make appropriate corrections either in the information accompanying the photograph from Antonina Ivanova's archive or in the attribution of the painting.
