Object description
Underneath the photo is a simple pencil inscription in Ukrainian: "Unsigned". However, this photocopy is a tonally different version of Antonina Ivanova's work "Laundresses" photograph, probably taken in Moscow in 1930. The finished work (1930, canvas, tempera) is in the Gallery's collection. Given the identity of the black and white photograph with the resolution of the original work, it can also be assumed that this photograph shows the finished work, which is now in the Borys Voznytskyi Lviv National Art Gallery.
