Biography
Wojciech Brzega was a sculptor, carver, decorator, peasant writer, and public figure. He was engaged in the manufacture of furniture, decorative sculpture, as well as applied arts. Thanks to these works, he is considered a co-creator of the Zakopane style. The artist carved mainly wood; however, he also worked with plaster, terracotta, and bronze. It was mostly a portrait sculpture.
