Object description

The Biedermeier style combined the portraiture with the genre art, nurturing the genre painting. Jablonski's painting "Girl With Breakfast on a Tray" refers to such works. Perhaps, it was a kind of interpretation of "Chocolate Maker" by Liotard. This interpretation of the work is not an imitation, but a kind of artist's attempt to recapture everyday life in the spirit of the time. Everything in the painting is simple and touching. The image of the girl is elegant, full of attraction, warmth, calm confidence, and restrained dignity.
