It is one of an angels' group of figures from the church in the Lviv region. They are performed in a typical manner, with a clearly defined smooth line of a silhouette. The kneeling figure is reproduced on the console; his head is turned to the left, and his left hand is pressed to his chest. A large head, muscular arms and massive short legs of the figure confirm the authorship of the folk master. Focusing on the angel's face, the artist endowed him with an elongated oval face, a high forehead and a clearly defined chin, large almond-shaped eyes with lowered outer corners, a massive nose with clear nostrils and wide lips. The figure's hair is combed back, modelled with shallow straight, engraved lines. The body of the angel is not polished. The traces from the master's chisel, made next to each other, appear on the surface. Peace and balance are felt in the static sculpture of an angel.
