The foreground of the horizontal composition "Landscape from Vyshkiv" on the right-hand side shows a part of a winding mountain river in greyish-green tones. On the left is a yellow-greenish hill at the foot of which a fence (a cut-off trunk used for fencing) is depicted horizontally, with two trees on the left, a row of brown haystacks behind the fence, and a row of houses with light grey and red roofs above on the hill. Behind the houses unfolds a band of greyish-blue mountains. Along the upper edge of the composition, the sky is grey with light grey clouds. This landscape by Margit Selska creates the impression of an unreal vision, through the intensified contrast of yellow-grey, grey-red tones, further emphasized by the brown-black contour lines.
