The work depicts a decoratively interpreted landscape, possibly of a mountainous region, where the height of the mountains suggests the presence of a glacier. The colour palette is harmonious, with contrasting juxtapositions of shades and shapes. The stylised approaches used in depicting the mountain range in the background are in line with the modernist aesthetic. The main part of the composition is based on a combination of generalised masses and detailed elements, such as vegetation in the foreground and trees in the background. Additionally, applying the general asymmetry principle and using individual elements in extreme stylisation (ultramarine water surface in the central part) impart an oriental character to the imagery.
