Object description
A paired piece to the work Allegory of Winter. A full-length image of a young woman dressed in a long dress with draperies that fall to her feet. In her arms, bare to the shoulders, she holds a garland of flower buds. She is wearing a wreath of flowers on her head. The facial features are rendered schematically. In terms of composition and plastic performance, the work is much weaker than Allegory of Winter. The figure is mounted on a pedestal consisting of a cylindrical podium made of pink marble, which stands on two narrow rectangular slabs of white and dark marble. The provincial nature of the work, devoid of stylistic features, makes it difficult to date the piece.
Inscriptions
On the back of the lower slab of the pedestal there is an inscription in white paint: "№ С-І-549/ Л.ОКГ".
