Ignatius (? -1651) and Theodosia (? -1653) were the children of Matthias and Theodosia who died in the 1650s. According to the inscription on the icon, the father commissioned it in 1660 in memory of his deceased children. The epitaphic icon shows Ignatius and Theodosia with their hands folded in prayer on the reconstructed Mount Calvary in front of the cross with the crucified Jesus, below which the skull of Adam is drawn. The work is characteristic of the flat treatment of the painting, typical for 17th century icon-painting. At the bottom there is the inscription: «Рабь Бжи Матфей со женою своею Феидосиею а пам'ять Немете Ани Та – / де и свою запасение и итпа щение грьхов с-оих доли списати лоцевь бжо потомство / свое которое вгь зебра зсего свьта. Зде начетили раб Бжи Игнати вперьшо рок / претавися А. Х. Н. А. потом Ew Досия, – Апже водьн рок преставися Ахнг / дьхь своиьтр – котори бже даруй - /……».
