The sculpture of an angel is paired with the figure C-I-1246. The front-facing figure of the kneeling angel is reproduced in the image of a young man. His left arm is raised; he is dressed in a long white tunic, leaving his right shoulder open. The angel's garment is modelled by small cuts of vertical lines that do not disrupt the static integrity of the image. Neatly laid strands of dark hair are made in low relief and divided in the middle. The angel has a thoughtful face with a high forehead, arched eyebrows, small eloquent eyes, and a wide mouth. Two sculptures of angels are made according to the same principle of the anatomical construction of the figure, plastic modelling, and reproduction of the image.
