Object description
The work is an intimate knee-length portrait of a young woman sitting by a wall. A black-and-white cat is sleeping in her arms. The girl is wearing a white dress with a plunging neckline, over which she has draped a grey shawl that covers her shoulders and arms. Her charming face is framed by medium-length golden-brown hair, styled in a straight part with soft waves falling from the temples. The girl has a bright blush on her cheeks. With a faint smile, she looks at the viewer. The light coming from the left emphasises the girl's fair skin and creates a shadow behind her.
