Object description
Against a dark burgundy background is a waist-length portrait of an older man with a moustache depicted in a slight left profile. The man is dressed in a black tailcoat, vest, white shirt, and black bow tie. The face is deeply wrinkled. The tired gaze of his closely-set grey eyes is directed at the viewer.
