Object description

She is dressed in a blue silk gown, white lace ruffled collar, and white cuffs. The attire is completed with a black cape adorned with an ornamental border. Her hands are crossed at waist level. Her dark hair is styled in a strict updo with a centre parting. The woman's facial features are soft, with a gentle blush on her cheeks. The woman has expressive blue eyes that gaze calmly at the viewer. Behind the portrait subject, a portion of a hilly landscape and a green tree are visible.
