One of ten works in a lithographic series depicting views of Lviv during the russian occupation in the winter of 1915. The main façade of the Galician Sejm building (now Ivan Franko National University of Lviv) is shown in oblique perspective, from the former 3 May Street (now Sichovykh Striltsiv Street). Only the risalit with one of its sculptures is clearly visible. Even the street lamp in front of the Sejm is unlit, as the deputies are not in session. In the background, the corner of the Austro-Hungarian Bank building stands out as a key element of this urban landscape. The work is executed in subdued grey tones, with both the snow and sky depicted in darkened shades.
