Object description
The sculptural form depicts a man wrapping a cloak around a child on his lap. The man wears a striped wig that falls to his shoulders and a wide round usekh collar. Such a necklace is one of the symbols of the sun in ancient Egypt, indicating the man's high social status. The child is shaved bald, indicating his special origin.
