Object description
Porcelain vessel in a metal frame with a flat cylindrical shape and a lid. The surface is covered with a light green glaze, the counter-enamel is beige. On the flat top - scene in the garden, where 6 girls in kimono are busy creating and examining scrolls; on the sidewall of the lid - lambrequin ornament; on the sidewall of the body - a garland. Inside the vessel at the bottom is a cobalt image of two boys sitting on the grass. One of which is holding a book in his hands. The fixed metal frame of the body consists of two parallel strips between which are fixed 4 identical metal figurative overlays in the form of a rider on a mythical creature. The metal frame of the cover consists of 3 crossed strips, fixed by a ring around the edge, containing three butterfly-shaped openwork overlays, in the centre are a dragon, a phoenix and a pearl.
