The figure of the saint is one of the allegorical figures that stood in the Church of the Assumption in the village of Navariia. The сontrapposto figure of a woman with a book in her hands and her left foot outstretched, imitating a walk, is characterised by the static and restrained pose. The saint's figure is gracefully curved, and her face is beautiful. She is dressed in a long dress that reaches her ankles and a cloak that covers her head; the ends of the cloak are knotted across her chest. The folds of the woman's clothing are conveyed by the slowed-down dynamics of the drapery and elaborate indentations of smooth, wavy lines. Despite the restrained movements, the soft forms and the idealisation of the image, the work retains the emotional excitement of the Baroque.
