Object description
The cherub exhibits an enticing and unconventional appearance with an elongated oval face and a well-defined chin outlined by a soft contour line. Deep almond-shaped eyes are set under the protruding brow arches, framed by the precise lines of thick eyelids. A snub nose and plump lips are visible on the asymmetrical face. The cherub's head is covered with strands of wavy hair with messy bangs cascading down to a high forehead. The hair is modelled with deeply carved lines with sharp edges. The dreamy, somewhat stern image of the cherub is similar in its manner of execution to the head of an angel under the inventory number С-І-2184.
