Object description
A copy of one of the reliefs on the triumphal arch of Emperor Titus in Rome after his victory in the Jewish War and the plundering of the Temple in Jerusalem (70 AD). A horizontal composition depicting warriors in a triumphal procession, moving to the right and carrying trophies, including golden trumpets, pans for removing ashes from the altar, and a table of bread. In the centre is the main temple shrine, the golden Menorah, which one of the victors is holding upward.
Inscriptions
On the reverse side are inscriptions: "54. G.N.M.L."; "№ С-ІІ-621 Львів ОКГ"; "№ С-ІІ-621 / Львів ОКГ".
