Adam Michal Rzewuski (?–1717) – was a statesman and politician of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Castellan of Podlasie, rittmeister. He comes from the Polish magnate family of Rzewuski. Eldest son of Michal Florian Rzewuski and his wife Anna Dzierzek. Against the dark background stands a somewhat stocky, baggy figure of Adam wearing a white caftan and a blue cloak lined with dark fur. The portrayed man is depicted in a three-quarter reverse to the left, with his left hand on the hilt of his sword and his right hand on the table, where the knight's helmet lies. The portrait emphasizes representation, social prestige, and class characterization, which is combined with notions of human dignity. The work is done in a flat manner. The inscription in the upper corner of the portrait under the coat of arms reads: "ADAM RZEWUSKI KASZTELAN PODLASKI".
