Object description
The angel's graceful, round-faced head is turned to the right. Gentle, soft lines prevail in the image. Plump pink cheeks, a snub nose, and a small double chin create a childlike, naive image. Unusual expressiveness is given to the face by wide-open blue eyes with a clearly defined line along the contour and a barely noticeable smile. The well-preserved polychrome enhances the emotional intensity of the cherub and complements the plastic perception of the image.
