The full-length figure of an angel is shown as a young man in a dynamic Baroque pose. His head is turned to the left shoulder; his arms are shifted to the left. The angel's athletic body is depicted anatomically correctly. It is covered with a tunic that falls from his shoulders, exposing the upper part of the figure. It was important for the sculptor to convey the shape, mood, and expressiveness of the image inherent in Baroque plastics. The oval face with a protruding beard is clearly defined. The figure has a high forehead, which passes into a long nose in a straight line, voluminous cheekbones, almond-shaped eyes with clearly defined eyeballs and massive eyelid arches. The angel's clothing is modelled by abstract planes curved at different angles with geometric sharply cut folds. The sculpture impresses with its graceful pose and unique silhouette.
