The portrait of Wincenty Rzewuski belongs to the ceremonial and representative portraits. The artist paid great attention to the expressive silhouette of the person portrayed. Wincenty Rzewuski is depicted in full length; his figure is slightly turned to the left with his hand on the table, where there is also a hat; his left hand is holding the hilt of the saber. The man's face is of special attention in the portrait, as the artist sought to depict not only the physical resemblance, but also to express the character of the person portrayed. The artist skillfully painted red lips, a massive chin, straight black eyebrows, and small eyes. The red color of Wincenty Rzewuski’s kontusz brings the whole composition to life and gives the portrait a noble sound. In the upper left corner of the portrait, against a dark background, there is a light spot of the Rzewuski family coat of arms. The work is painted in the traditions of the early Baroque period.
