A sketch for an as yet unidentified mural is executed in cold colours with active use of whitewash, individual colour, and tonal accents. Given the mural's subject matter, it was most likely intended for a house of culture or other public space, possibly a communal eatery. The latter is evidenced by the fact that the characters depicted in full-length – a man with a drum turned ¾ to the viewer and a profile figure of a woman with bread and salt on a towel – are interpreted quite freely, with specific ethnographic references stylised and modernised (in particular, ornamental motifs on women's costumes in red, a man's belt like a сheres and a hat, and a woman's hairstyle). The individual segments depicting the figures are separated by circles with red geometric ornamental motifs, complementing the monumental figures and giving the composition an unusual atmosphere.
