Object description
The angel's lovely round head is turned towards his left shoulder. Gentle, soft lines dominate the image. Plump pink cheeks, a snub nose, and a slight double chin create a childlike, naive image. Wide-open blue eyes with a clearly defined black line along the contour and a slightly open mouth give the face an unusual expressiveness. Well-preserved polychromy enhances the cherub's emotional expressiveness and adds to the plasticity of the image.
