Object description
The cherub appears as a symbol of heavenly joy and peace. Its face has soft, rounded features reminiscent of childlike innocence. The image of the cherub radiates tenderness and heavenly purity. The high forehead, clear upward gaze, slightly accentuated lips, and prominent small chin create a feeling of friendliness and warmth. The rounded face is modelled with soft, flowing lines. Wavy strands of hair are neatly arranged on the head. Its small wings give a feeling of lightness, which is enhanced by the rounded, puffy clouds. The work reveals the sculptor's desire to convey not only the external beauty but also the spiritual essence of the heavenly creature. The sculptural image of the cherub is a gentle symbol of heavenly joy, combining the human and the supernatural, the material and the spiritual.
