Biography
Bruno Tepa (1865–1898) was a Polish artist and nephew of the famous painter and ethnographer Franciszek Tepa (1829–1889). He received his first lessons in professional skills from his uncle. He later studied in Kraków at the Academy of Fine Arts under Izydor Jabłoński and studied in Munich. The artist's oeuvre includes atmospheric landscapes of Germany, Italy, and Galicia ("The Pond in Tlumach", 1893; "View from Truskavets", 1897; "Moonlit Night", 1897), as well as a number of genre compositions and caricatures.
