The sculpture of the saint from Lanovychi village is carved following Baroque plasticity. The slowed-down dynamism of movement distinguishes the contrapposto figure of a man. His left leg is free; his arms are directed to the left; his head is expressively bowed; his body is curved. Baroque style affected the modelling of the saint's garments. He is dressed in a light long robe and chasuble – the upper liturgical vestment of priests of the Roman Catholic Church. The chasuble is shortened, with smooth embroidery in gold – they appeared in the Baroque era ("baroque carved robe"). The outfit is modelled with straight vertical strands that fall down freely. The pattern of draperies on clothes is somewhat moderate. It is carved without excessive creases and line crosses. Emotional tension is felt on the face. It is framed by the curls of wavy hair and a short beard made with parallel incised lines. His face with a high, smooth forehead, small rolled-up eyes, and barely open mouth is conveyed in the frozen expression of melancholic thoughtfulness.
