Object description
The angel's head is tilted to the right. A soft line envelops the smooth oval contour of the face with plump, rosy cheeks. The dreamy and childishly naive image of the cherub is accentuated by the gaze directed upwards from the wide-open eyes. Unruly strands of wavy hair cover the angel's head. Tiny wings and fluttering hair add dynamism to the image. The plastic perception of the sculpture is complemented by the preserved polychrome, which enhances the naturalistic sound of the figure.
