The sculpture of the saint is one of the allegorical figures that once stood in the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the village of Navariia. With her right foot forward, the contrapposto figure is carved in a relatively static pose. The woman's gracefully turned head is crowned with a tiara under which one can see strands of dark hair arranged in a neat bun; her left hand is raised, while the saint's right hand holds a sizeable closed book. The woman wears a corset that follows the lines of her body, and a long skirt with a restrained pattern of drapery, without excessive folds and intersections. She wears a cape over her shoulders, fastened at the chest.
